How Light Interacts with Different Materials

Today we did an investigation about light and they way it interacts with different materials.  We collected data, which we shared as a class, and defined reflect, transmit and absorb.

Soccer Time!!!!

Today we played Lego soccer games.  We built Lego Kickers, Lego Cheering Fans, and Lego Goal Keepers.

Crazy Technology Blog

Today we talked about different technology like gloves, sun glasses and knives. We also talked a little bit about what engineers do.  We also talked about the Engineering Process: imagine, plan, create, improve and ask.

Kyle's Blog

Today we learned with jump ropes by making perpendicular, intersecting and parallel lines.  We had to stand on a line that was parallel.  Then we did some activities with the jump rope too.

Planetarium Field Trip

Today we had a fun field trip to the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse Campus.  We attending a great program at their planetarium about the winter night sky and the scale of the solar system.  Later we ate lunch in the commons area.  What a great way to wrap up our solar system unit.

Animal Research

Today we were doing animal research. We worked very hard and learned a lot.  Some of us got to use Power Point.
