Planetarium

We went to the Planetarium in Wisconsin. It was really fun for a field trip.  We learned a lot about stars and saw a little video called, "Honey, I Shrunk the Solar System". Then, we ate lunch.

Lots of Snow

It was snowing and my teacher just could not stand to not look at the snowflakes.  So, we took a blue piece of paper and magnifying glass and went outside.  We caught some snowflakes.  It was fun!

Snowshoeing Adventure

We had a great time snowshoeing last week.  We all put on our fabulous new Redfeather Snowshoes and trekked around.  It's hard work, but it sure is fun!

Winter Fun

Last week we wrapped up our Lego Robotics Unit.  It was so much fun.  I am amazed by the students' abilities and patience with their projects. They are natural born engineers. Some of the projects were very complex.  They also had to be programmed.  I learned right along with the students.
